Innovations & Promotion
The Avtomir Group began its history in 1993 when it made the first sale and the first purchase on the Russian Commodity Exchange. Just a year later it was already selling several dozens of VAZes and GAZes monthly. In 1994 with its monthly volume of sales exceeding 100 cars, it opened the first roofed auto show room. Soon by introducing a new service – professional installation of extra features – the company launched a new line of business, after-sale car repair and service.
In 1995 Avtomir sold its first foreign car, which happened to be a ‘Daewoo’.
